I am honored to have come from London to serve as the founding Headmaster of Sardinia International School. I was born in Australia and graduated from the University of Sydney. My teaching journey has taken me through some of the UK’s finest private schools, including King’s School Canterbury – one of the oldest schools in the world – Stowe School, and Sussex House School in London, where I served as Executive Head.
It is a privilege to work alongside Luigi (Gigi) Antolini, a respected educator in Sardinia and former principal of Liceo Scientifico Lorenzo Mossa in Olbia. Fittingly, one of the very first children to enrol in our school is the son of two of Gigi’s former students.
Our campus in Geovillage blends nature with thoughtful design. Classrooms feature sound-absorbing materials, flexible layouts and calming colours. A glass-walled classroom and outdoor areas create a space that inspires focus, movement and imagination.
Students take part in daily sports activities including football, basketball, tennis and volleyball. All sessions take place on professional-grade surfaces, promoting movement, teamwork and well-being in a safe, professional environment.
Our Primary School programme integrates much of the content of the Italian national curriculum with significant British and North American components.
It is taught in English (with the exception of Italian language and literature) by native English-speaking teachers together with Italian primary education specialists. We will enable all our children to become fluent in English and Italian.
Our lessons begin at 8:30 am and finish at 1:30 pm, with a 30-minute break during the morning. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes. After lunch, students participate in two hours of sport and extra-curricular activities. The school day finishes at 5:30pm.
Parents can drop their children off at school in the mornings from 8:00 am, and collect them from school after lessons at any time up to 6:00 pm.
Fresco, locale e preparato sul posto — ogni giorno.
At Sardinia International School, all meals are prepared daily in-house by our own chefs — never outsourced. We use only fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced locally. Snacks and lunch are included in tuition, and children eat together in a calm and friendly environment.
Our Director of Food & Nutrition, Francesco Torelli, trained under Gordon Ramsay and worked in several starred restaurants in Italy. He brings both culinary excellence and deep care to every dish.
Our admissions process is personal and supportive — we take time to understand each family and help you determine if Sardinia International School is the right fit for your child.
