I am honored to have come from London to serve as the founding Headmaster of Sardinia International School. I was born in Australia and graduated from the University of Sydney. My teaching journey has taken me through some of the UK’s finest private schools, including King’s School Canterbury – one of the oldest schools in the world – Stowe School, and Sussex House School in London, where I served as Executive Head.
It is a privilege to work alongside Luigi (Gigi) Antolini, a respected educator in Sardinia and former principal of Liceo Scientifico Lorenzo Mossa in Olbia. Fittingly, one of the very first children to enrol in our school is the son of two of Gigi’s former students.
Classrooms filled with sunlight and open to nature make our Geovillage campus a place where imagination and movement flourish. Flexible spaces, calming colors, and glass-walled rooms — together with learning under the open sky — inspire focus and creativity.
Students take part in daily sports activities including football, athletics, basketball and floorball. All sessions take place on professional-grade surfaces, promoting movement, teamwork and well-being in a safe, professional environment.
Our Primary School combines the strengths of the Italian curriculum with British and North American approaches, giving children the gift of fluency in two languages
Our Primary School programme combines the strengths of the Italian national curriculum with key elements from British and North American education.
Taught in English (with Italian language and literature in Italian), lessons are led by native English-speaking teachers alongside Italian primary specialists. This dual approach nurtures confident, fluent communication in both English and Italian.
Learning, movement, and creativity in harmony throughout the day
Our day begins at 8:30 am and flows until 1:30 pm, with 45-minute lessons and a refreshing morning break. After lunch, children enjoy two hours of sports and extra-curricular activities, bringing movement and creativity into every afternoon. The school day ends at 5:30 pm.
For parents’ convenience, morning drop-off starts at 8:00 am, and children can be collected any time up to 6:00 pm.
Fresh, local and prepared on-site — everyday.
At Sardinia International School, all meals are prepared daily in-house by our own chefs — never outsourced. We use only fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced locally. Snacks and lunch are included in tuition, and children eat together in a calm and friendly environment.
Our Director of Food & Nutrition, Francesco Torelli, trained under Gordon Ramsay and worked in several starred restaurants in Italy. He brings both culinary excellence and deep care to every dish.
Our admissions process is personal and supportive — we take time to understand each family and help you determine if Sardinia International School is the right fit for your child.
