Richard has over 11 years experience of teaching Mathematics in the UK and in international schools in Italy, and has held positions as International Baccalaureate Mathematics coordinator and Head of Department. He has enjoyed teaching the Theory of Knowledge as part of the core International Baccalaureate Diploma curriculum.
Originally a mathematician, holding a post-doctoral position at University College, London, he moved into an industry career as a business analyst and project manager for leading financial software companies and banks, allowing him the opportunity to live in Hong Kong and Germany.
